The MCA-527 RS485 Configurator allows to configure the RS485 interface of the MCA-527 for the intended operating conditions.

The MCA-527 Basic State Configurator is intended for detector manufacturers who integrate the MCA-527 Micro, Nano or OEM within the detector encasement or for technicians who construct systems with permanently connected detector.
The tool allows to predefine the basic state of the MCA-527 (firmware version 21.00 or higher). The basic state is stored in the EEPROM and is established during power-up or during reset.

Before using this tool, the most suitable parameters for the detector have to be determined with any qualified program (e.g. WinSPEC). After that the parameters can be taken over by this tool.

The MCA-527 Power Module Reconfigurator allows to reconfigurate the maximum adjustable high voltage  of the MCA-527 power module (full und lite version) to 5000V.

By default, the high voltage is limited to 3600V. Users who want to use a 5000V high voltage module have to increase the maximum adjustable high voltage with this program.

The device driver is needed for MCA-166 USB, MCA-527 and NScan. If you want to run the devices with self-developed applications, you have to install the device driver with this installation program. The installation programs for applications developed by us already include the installation of the device driver.

The MCA communication library provides functions that can be used by MCA-166 or MCA-527 users for developing their own MS Windows applications. The functions are described in the User's Manuals for the MCA-166 and MCA-527.

This package provides the C++ source code of an MCA communication library with essential basic functions similar to the Windows communication DLL. Further it contains a simple command line tool to communicate with an MCA. The software uses the FTD2XX library which is based on an unmodified version of libusb. It is intended for Linux systems. Documentation is included.
